1. General Policy
All bookings, once confirmed, are non-cancellable and non-transferable except under specific conditions stated below.
Refunds or billing adjustments will only be processed in cases where SPIL is directly responsible for a service failure or operational error.
The consignor is advised to carefully review shipment details, pickup schedules, and payment status before confirming a booking.
2. Shipment Cancellation
Before Pickup:
A shipment may be cancelled before the pickup is completed.
If cancellation occurs at the time of pickup, applicable service or visit charges may be deducted.
After Pickup:
Once a shipment is picked up, no cancellation or refund will be processed.
If the shipment is returned to the consignor (RTO), charges for pickup, transit, and RTO will apply as per the agreed rate.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be applicable in the following cases:
The shipment was delayed due to natural calamities, union strikes, or carrier failure beyond SPIL’s control.
Incorrect documentation (invoice, e-way bill, declaration, etc.) caused delay or non-delivery.
The shipment contained prohibited, contraband, or unsafe goods because of which delay occurred.
Consignor failed to report a billing or invoice error within 24 hours of invoice generation.
Shipments held due to outstanding or overdue payments.
4. Refund Eligibility
A refund or adjustment may be processed under the following conditions:
Double payment or excess freight charge paid for the same shipment.
Shipment booked but not picked up (invoice automatically stands cancelled in such cases).
Confirmed billing discrepancy verified and approved by SPIL accounts department.
Cancellation approved before dispatch of the pickup vehicle.
5. Refund Process
Eligible refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment or adjusted against future invoices.
The consignor must submit a written refund request to info@spinternationallogistics.in with supporting documents (invoice, payment proof, etc.).
Refunds will be processed within 45 working days after verification and approval.
